Let me start by saying, just go book this place. Find your dates and book it now! Then come back and keep reading. My wife and I were looking for a quiet weekend away, to unplug and relax. This was the PERFECT place to do just that. Sure, plenty of amazing things within 15-30 mins of driving (Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Marshall, the AT, etc.) so this place would be the perfect base camp for all that, but we didn’t get back in the car once we unpacked! We spent two days enjoying the porch, the gas fire table thingy, the hot tub, “hiking” the driveway down to the perfect little creek, and enjoying the incredible cabin with all it’s attention to detail. Can’t recommend this place enough, top to bottom. Amazing and responsive host! Cannon wait to get back. Also, we had lunch at Farm Burger in Asheville and breakfast / coffee on the way out at We’ll Bread Bakery

We celebrated our 30th on this trip and this was one of the most memorable anniversaries ever. Having the snow come down as we sat in the hot tub, enjoying the gas fireplace on the deck, and sleeping solidly in the silence made for an outstanding experience. The privacy was amazing! And the owner was available by text if we ever needed anything. The house was well stocked. We will be back!
